Renee’s Story

"The joy we experience through Lanesboro Arts has not changed.”

A. Renee Bergstrom is a 70 year-old Volunteer Communication Consultant from Elgin, MN.

Renee is a visual artist and has been selling her beautiful postcards for 23 years. She has exhibited work through Lanesboro Arts including travel photographs and a fashion show of designer dresses titled, Titanic Tea.

Renee has been involved in Lanesboro Arts since 1992 when it was known as Cornucopia Art Center. She helped paint a mural on the exterior of the first gallery, has aided in fundraising events, served on the board of directors, and continues to support Lanesboro Arts as an enthusiastic member and Juried Sales Gallery artist. She, along with her husband Gene, “try to attend every exhibit opening and Swingsation event, and consider Lanesboro Arts staff and artists as extended family. The joy we experience through Lanesboro Arts has not changed.”

In January of 2018, Renee joined Lanesboro Arts Board of Directors.
