I love working with color to create one of a kind wearable pieces, whether they are my original designs or pieces that I “up-cycle” by adding dye, surface design or other embellishments. I especially like working with a wide variety of Shibori resist dyeing techniques. I have a master’s degree in design with a concentration on color theory. In 2012 I was a recipient of a Jerome Foundation Fiber Arts Grant that allowed me to study with Jean Williams Cacicedo in her Berkeley studio.
