Lanesboro Arts welcomed all experience levels of youth ages 2 to 5 for an outdoor art making course. Sensory activities included playing with fabric, printmaking, sidewalk chalk, painting, and more. This class was an art experience with the opportunity to explore new mediums while being active outdoors. If the class is well attended we will offer more classes for this age group this summer.

Alayna Sobieniak is an early childhood teacher who is passionate about supporting children’s social and emotional health. She has spent the last decade working with children in schools, childcares, and most recently, the great outdoors teaching forest school and children’s yoga. She has her degree in Child Development from Northern Michigan university.
