Lanesboro Community Theatre takes the stage at the St. Mane Theatre to present A Murder Has Been Renounced, a combination mystery and comedy by Lee Mueller. Tickets are on sale now online or at Parkway Market for $15 dollars.
When a couple’s car breaks down on a dark and stormy night, they seek shelter at a nearby estate where the assorted oddball guests are all behaving very strangely. The phone lines are down, a necklace is stolen, shots are fired, and a guest is strangled!
Watch the mystery unfold on March 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th at 7:00 pm, and March 5th and 12th at 2:00 pm.
Formed in 2004, Lanesboro Community Theater’s first productions were melodramas held in Sylvan Park and the Sons of Norway hall, and later, two-act plays presented each February and March at the St. Mane Theatre. The Lanesboro Community Theater added a summer musical at the St. Mane Theatre to its repertoire in 2011, and in 2012, a September silent movie night in Sylvan Park, which stars local citizens.
