Join Lanesboro Arts at Sylvan Brewing on Saturday, November 9th for our Fall Fundraiser Canvas Clash! From 5 – 7 pm, cheer on the six talented artists featured in this fast-paced, painting showdown, where you decide on the winner! This event celebrates the Online Auction and launches our annual Reach for the Arts fundraising campaign, all during a lively and friendly battle of painters. Tickets on sale soon.

Six artists will compete in an elimination-style tournament, creating art right before your eyes in a raucous yet family-friendly environment. Their Canvas Clash creations will be on sale in a sealed bid auction after the competition, giving attendees a chance to take home their favorite piece and support the artist who made it. Stay tuned to see who this year’s competing artists will be!

This gathering brings together the artists, donors, and community members that make Lanesboro Arts’ programming possible. In addition to the thrilling Canvas Clash competition, the event will ring in the final hours of our Online Auction Fundraiser, and propels us into our Reach for the Arts fundraising season. Join us in celebrating 2024 and looking ahead to 2025!

Tickets will be on sale soon. Admission includes a drink ticket for one of Sylvan’s refreshing brews, and three tickets for voting in each Canvas Clash round. There will also be light appetizers for Canvas Clash guests, and a food truck available.

As a non-profit arts organization, Lanesboro Arts relies on your support to fulfill our mission to provide diverse art experiences for people of all ages, and to serve as a regional catalyst for artistic excellence and educational development. Your generous donations given at this event help support Lanesboro Arts’ nationally-acclaimed year-round arts programming, including our youth education programs, St. Mane events, artist residencies, and gallery events. Our goal is to raise $10,000 through the auction and year-end fundraising to support the work we do year-round!
