30th Gallery After Hours Celebration

  • July 15, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
  • High Court Pub Back River Deck

Lanesboro Arts is proud to present the >30th Gallery After Hours Celebration, happening on Saturday, July 15th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the High Court Pub back patio. This event directly follows the 30th Gallery Anniversary Reception and invites guests to keep the celebration going with more live music from Nathan’s Jazzers featuring Mariah Ciangiola, and socializing on the back patio of neighboring High Court Pub!

This year marks 30 years for the Lanesboro art gallery — now a part of Lanesboro Arts. To honor and celebrate that legacy – and all of the artists, community members, and patrons who’ve contributed to it – we’ve assembled a juried group show featuring the work of more than 30 artists. This After Hours Celebration is a casual opportunity for artists, guests, and community members to reminisce, share stories, and continue celebrating 30th years of the Lanesboro Arts Galleries.

Nathan’s Jazzers featuring Mariah Ciangiola is an easy-going group of guys and a gal who have been playing music for many years. The variety and improvisation found in Jazz standards is a fun challenge for the group, who will knock your socks off with their classic big band sound. Nathan Davidson, the group’s front man, is the founder of CBB Jazz Combo as well as the Lost Faculties. Mariah Ciangiola is an actress and vocalist who has sung around the world as lead Vocalist for AIDA Cruiselines.

The group show will run from June 17 – August 13. Other related events include a 30th Gallery Anniversary Reception, happening on Saturday, July 15th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Lanesboro Arts Gallery and the Canvas Clash, a fast-paced, live painting showdown between six artists that will take place on Thursday, July 13th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at Sylvan Brewing.>

The exhibit is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
