The 2025 Annual High School Art Show celebrates the immense creative talents of local high school students! This show will run from January 11th through February 2nd at the Lanesboro Arts Exhibition Gallery!
See art work created by 9th-12th grade students from Chatfield, Fillmore Central, Lanesboro, Mabel- Canton and Rushford-Peterson High Schools. The show features a variety of art works, including photographs, paintings, drawings, digital art, mixed media works and more!
There will be an Opening Reception on January 11th from 5 – 7 pm to celebrate these young artists. Come on out to the Lanesboro Arts Gallery to enjoy live music, deserts, and of course, the students artwork.
The Juried High School show has played an important role in developing the confidence and experience of young artists, who have the unique opportunity to see their creative efforts presented in a public, professional gallery setting. It also highlights the meaningful impact of the arts in our local schools. Art teachers foster their student’s creativity and encourage exploration of new mediums and techniques, building up skills that will serve these students all through their lives.
Always free and open to the public, the Lanesboro Arts Exhibition Gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm.
Featured Art by Sorayah Hershberger, Lanesboro High School.
The exhibit is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
