Celebrate the opening of  “People, Places and Things” with a reception, with painters Christine Tierney and Michele Combs, on Saturday, October 21 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Stop into the Lanesboro Arts Exhibition Gallery to marvel at Tierney and Combs meticulously rendered oil paintings and visit with the artists themselves! There will also be complimentary seasonal refreshments and live jazz by Dave O’Mara and Friends.

About the show:

Tierney and Combs share a passion for painting beautiful expressions of the world around them. While they were both classically trained in the tradition of the Old Masters, they have each forged their own individual paths in the art world. Some of their paintings are done outdoors in the elements, where mother nature calls the shots, and some are painted in the comfort of their studios, with controlled temperature and lighting. Like handwriting, the artistic expression created when wielding a paintbrush will always carry the personal touch of the one that created it. Their works exhibited together complement each other and provide the viewer with two unique interpretations of People, Places and Things.

“People, Places and Things” will run from October 21st to December 23rd. This is the last Exhibition gallery show of 2023!
