Join Alayna Sobieniak for youth classes creating art outdoors!
Lanesboro Arts welcomes all experience levels of youth ages 5 to 7 for an outdoor art making course. Activities may include weaving, printmaking, sidewalk chalk, nature sculptures, and more. This class will be an art experience with the opportunity to explore new mediums while being active outdoors.
Alayna Sobieniak is an early childhood teacher who is passionate about supporting children’s social and emotional health. She has spent the last decade working with children in schools, childcares, and most recently, the great outdoors teaching forest school and children’s yoga. She has her degree in Child Development from Northern Michigan university.

Time: 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Sylvan Park, Meet at the Gazebo
Ages: 5-7 years
Space is limited to 6 students so please register in advance. All supplies are included with a registration fee of $10.00 per class. Contact Kara at 507-467-2446 ext. 3 if a participant needs financial assistance.
COVID-19 precautions are in place for this activity. Attendance is capped at 6 children. The classes will be taught outdoors and will maintain proper social distance of 6 feet apart. Supplies will not be shared between students; instead, there will be pre-packaged materials for each student.
