DESCRIPTION:Lanesboro Arts presents “A Common Thread” featuring textile artwork from the Textile Center’s member artist exhibition. \nThe exhibition runs from October 24th through December 20th. \nThe Lanesboro Arts Exhibition Gallery is open from: \n10 am – 5 pm: Monday\, Thursday – Saturday \n11 am – 4 pm: Sunday \nAlways free to the public. \nLanesboro Arts is proud to host the Textile Center’s biennal show\, “A Common Thread”. A beloved tradition for 25 years\, this exhibition highlights the remarkable creativity of the Textile Center’s member artists and the versatility of fiber art.  \nMore than 30 works from Textile Center’s galleries will showcase techniques including stitching\, quilting\, knitting\, crochet\, sewing\, weaving\, dyeing\, felting\, needlework\, hand construction\, polymer clay\, lacemaking\, basketry\, beading\, sculpture\, mixed media and more – creating an exhibition rich in diversity and expansive in scope and perspective. \nThis exhibition features work from Laura Albertson\, Jane Bassuk\, Martha Bird\, Debbie Boyles. Sandra Brick\, Emily Chesick\, Susan Day\, Vicky Eldelstein\, Nancy Gehrig\, Cynthia Gipple\, Jean Hainlen\, Carolyn Halliday\, Kim Hondel\, Tina Hughes\, Kristen Jones\, Dyann Judy\, Riley Kleve\, Lisa Larson\, Angela Laughingheart\, Julie Liming\, Mary Lofgren\, Jane Lonnquist\, Karen Mallin\, Alice Markey\, Laura Murray\, Reina Nielsen\, Ann Poulson\, Chloe Russell Chang\, Karen Searle\, Amanda Shopa\, Judy Smith\, Terryl Steen\, Gall Steward\, Rebecca Yaker. \nThis exhibition is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a Minnesota State Arts Board Operating Support grant\, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
