Calling all visual artists working creatively in printmaking.
Lanesboro, Minn. – Calling all visual artists working creatively in printmaking! Lanesboro Arts is inviting artists to submit an application for inclusion in the upcoming ‘Under Pressure’ exhibit, a juried group show which will run June 22nd through August 11th 2019. Artists working in a variety of printmaking techniques are welcome to apply.
Deadline for entries is May 1, 2019. To be considered, artists may e-mail photos of 1-5 entries that are primarily composed of printmaking mediums (but not limited to) of woodcut, linocut, collagraph, silkscreen, engraving, monotype, and lithography are encouraged to apply.
Images e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Under Pressure’ in the subject line should include the following information for each entry: title, medium, size, dimensions, and retail price. Artists should also submit their mailing address, phone number, website and artist statement. Entries are also accepted via the postal service. Mail a CD or flash drive with high resolution digital images and a hard copy list of the information for each item to Lanesboro Arts, PO Box 152, Lanesboro, MN 55949.

Participating artists are invited to be in attendance at the opening reception on Saturday, June 22nd from 6-8 p.m. Following the exhibit, work will need to be picked up from the gallery by Tuesday, August 13, 2019. The “Under Pressure” exhibit is sponsored by Inspire(d) Magazine and supported by the Minnesota State Arts Board.
