To ask “Why do you photograph?” is akin to asking, “Why do I speak?” Photography, so closely married with technology, is evolving rapidly. As we grow more familiar with technological advances, some of our ideas about photography change. David refuses to be pinned down forever to a particular photographic style or technology. Still photography, he believes, reveals what the photographer saw and felt at a moment in time, and how the photographer approaches life. He also believes that photography often reveals more in the rich details of the imagery than the photographer may have experienced at that exciting and calculating moment.
